In addition to the Persnickety Palate, I have embarked on a venture called Scribbles by Sparks! All of our papercrafts are a joint effort between myself and my 3-year old son Nolan, a precious and very active little boy who was diagnosed with PDD-NOS, an autism spectrum disorder, in January 2011. He loves to draw at his easel, and I use my background in drawing and printmaking to create unique monoprints from his colorful scribbles; like snowflakes or fingerprints, no two are exactly the same. All proceeds from this venture help fund Nolan’s ongoing therapy sessions.
Visit us at scribblesbysparks.com and Facebook to see more sample imagery. If you are in the Denver area, you can see my cards in person at the Autism Community Store. I offer products at my Etsy store, but also please feel free to contact me for custom orders of any sort at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Update 10/1/2011: Scribbles by Sparks is getting ready for Christmas! Place your orders early, because all my cards are made by hand and will be limited by the number of hours in the day between now and December 25! My Christmas design base is building every day, but if you don’t see what you are looking for, please inquire for custom designs or personalized cards.
